About Deadly Maths
Deadly* Maths is the name given to the mathematics education projects, and to the approach to teaching mathematics in these projects, developed by a group of Brisbane mathematics-education researchers who collaborate to build the capacity of underachieving students with respect to mathematics. It contains information (reports and resources) on projects that the group have undertaken in many centres across Queensland, mainly in Australian Indigenous communities, to enhance the learning of mathematics. The members of the group, in alphabetic order, are Dr Annette Baturo, Professor Tom Cooper and Dr Grace Sarra from Queensland University of Technology (Kelvin Grove Campus) and Dr Chris Matthews from Griffith University (Nathan Campus).
